I'm finally getting around to posting pictures from the state finals. Brentwood had a great run, but they just couldn't fight off Maryville.
The way the city of Brentwood came together to support the high school football team was incredible.
Enjoy the pics, which include the escorted send-off as the boys headed to the game and a few before and after game pictures.
Julie and Mary, with Ashley under the sign on the right :) at the send-off before the game
Julie, Mary, and me holding the "Tractor Taylor Dee" poster. That's what the Brentwood announcer calls Taylor.
Another sign for Taylor
So many people drove by and honked their horns and waved.
Here they come down the street, with sirens blaring!
Taylor before the game getting everyone pumped up
These boys pray before every game
A black and white version
A wider shot
The captains, Taylor, Tywan and Tommy
Taylor after the game holding the Eagles' runner-up trophy. They should be proud!!
Thanksgiving was wonderful. Larry's family came over and we ate 'til we were stuffed.
Martha Stewart...I mean, my mom, wanted to see my Thanksgiving table, so here you go.
OH! One more thing. Please go to my book blog really quick by clicking HERE and scroll down a couple posts to the book review on "The Dogs Who Found Me." You have to read the quick story about my neighbor and the dog she saved at the pound that was on its death bed. You can even skip the book review and go to the title "My Neighbor" in bold. Heartwarming. The woman is a saint.
