Sunday Salon / Me With Celebrities

Today I'm reading Memoirs of a Geisha (I've been on an Asian kick lately - Snowflower and the Secret Fan and Shanghai Girls). I'll also be starting Pride and Prejudice, my first Jane Austen book. I don't know what's taken me so long, but I've heard great things.

Kelly's Korner is a popular, young version Martha Stewart-ish blog. Her baby girl Harper is darling and Kelly always puts her in some adorable outfit with huge matching hair bow. She also posts recipes and craft ideas. Anyhoo, she hosts a weekly event called Show Us Your Life Fridays, names a topic and other bloggers send in their recipe, pictures of their wedding or pictures of their house decorated for the holidays, or whatever the topic is, and everyone can see everyone else's posts. It's all done through a gadget called Mr. Linky.

One day she asked people to write suggestions for a topic. I told her it would be fun to have a Show Us Your Life - With Celebrities and have people post pictures of themselves with a celebrity or famous person. The other day she posted that in a few weeks she is going to take a blogger up on their suggestion. It would be great if it was mine, but I thought I'd post my pictures here anyway. If Kelly doesn't do it, I may just do my own little Mr. Linky here and see what people come up with. Kelly's blog is so popular, though, and would get waaaay more photo submissions, so I really, really hope she does it.

In the meantime, enjoy :)

Melissa Gilbert, Rob Lowe, and Me (so ugly...eww). This is when they were dating so it was a long time ago.

Me with Steve Garvey in England.

Mel Gibson, Me and Brad Pitt

Just kidding. That was at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, in London. LOL

I mention in my "100 Things About Me" post (button on right sidebar) that Sheryl Crowe lived with me when she first moved to L.A., but I don't have a picture of us together. Too bad!

And my dad will say, "What am I, chopped liver?" because I didn't post a picture of him and I together, especially since I have one with Steve Garvey (they both played for the Dodgers).

Here's Dad...

Here's me in my Dodger cheerleading outfit my mom made for us...

And another one...

And I guess because I was always behind the camera I don't have very many pictures of just my dad and I, so here is one of Dad and E. I love this picture of them.

Click here to see a picture of me in the newspaper when I was born. Not sure if they put that in there because I was so huge or because my dad was a baseball player. Hmmm....

My friend Megan sent me hers too.
