Just a reminder to everyone - Be sure to scroll down so you don't miss any blogs. Most of the time I just email any recent posts to my dad and siblings, especially if the post is about something only they might be interested in. So if you're not like my dad, who checks the site everyday (love you Dad), be sure to check older posts in case I posted some news you don't want to miss (because my life is so exciting). One of my friends said to me, "I didn't know you sold your house!!" But she saw the picture of my dog's new haircut. Well....there you go.
My niece Maysie (age 8) with her dad Frank
Actress Reese Witherspoon's favorite joke (and now mine):
What did the O say to the 8?
I don't know why that took me so long to figure out, but when it finally clicked I thought it was so funny (probably because it's so corny and took me so long to figure out!)
I love this saying: No one is more cherished in this world than he who lightens the burden of another.
Has everyone seen Slumdog Millionnaire? Okay...just checking.
I've already signed up to be a follower on Amanda Amberson's blog when she does one. Nobody makes me laugh more than she does, and I would love to be a fly on the wall at her house. She is a hoot. I can't wait for her blog. WAITING, WAITING, Amanda!
Eric is not enjoying my library book choices of late, especially after I asked him to clean his room, with consequences if he didn't follow through. He chose the consequences, which was doing his own laundry that was all over his floor. After two days of laundry that should have taken an hour, he said, "Mom, enough with the parenting books. Seriously."
If he doesn't like it, I must be doing something right. Right? And the best part is that now he knows how to do laundry!
Let the (March) Madness begin! When I dropped off Eric at school today he told me all of the b-ball games that I "have" to watch...who is playing and what times they are on. Goin' to the couch now. Okay, so maybe I'll iron while I'm watching :)
