Bad Days and Bad Haircuts

This is KC with her new haircut. Notice her model-esque legs. Have you ever seen America's Next Top Model where they do makeovers on the girls? Most of them like their new look, but inevitably someone ends up crying. KC is that girl. Her new haircut has affected her self-esteem, her personality, her demeanor. She has turned into devil-dog, attacking her poor sister without provocation. The short haircut was out of necessity. She was so matted. Poor baby. It'll grow out, but in the meantime, Stella must take the brunt of KC's resentment over her new look.

Please check out the Williams Family blog on my blog list to the right. Especially if you think you're having a bad day. I don't know why I look at these blogs. Krista asks me that all the time. I think it's because they make me appreciate how blessed my life really is. Here is my bad day: My dog got a short haircut and because of that she is suddenly fighting with my other dog. I've got ants in my food cupboard and had to take out all the food and spray ant spray and then wipe it down. I called Laclede Gas to turn the gas back on at my house in Brentwood and by the time I got over there, they had already been there and couldn't get in so I had to call them again. Okay, now here is the Williams' Family's bad day: Two weeks ago they had a child (their 1st child born last year was stillborn). His name is Jonah and he was born with an extremely rare skin disorder called Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). They think it's possible their first child had it. Jonah is the cutest baby, and his parents are awesome. I think God picks out special people to deal with difficult situations like this because, really, these parents truly are amazing. Their bad day is now going on two weeks and they aren't sure if their baby is going to make it. Check out their website...just for a minute. You'll feel blessed.
